There has been some fantastic golf played over our course this year, one memorable round being Lady Captain Joan in winning the competition for which I donated the prize. Congratulations Joan and many thanks for the way my wife and I were greeted at the presentation.

Gents handicap trophy winner Vice Captain Steve Popay, couldn’t be more pleased when presenting trophy, Lee Monks Scratch winner Neil Self, 2 fabulous rounds of golf and congratulations in achieving plus 1 handicap status.

John Brooks Stableford Trophy, winner Trevor Rodgers- 46 points outstanding. At this stage of season can I thank Jack Booth and all members of handicap & comps collating cards & preparing results.

We are now out of knockout competitions, gents foursomes team losing 4-3 to Marple Golf Club on Sunday 29th June.
The last 2 Captains Qualifiers will take place shortly, good luck to all competitors.

House

Val and Bill- continue providing superb food & service long may it continue. Bill was a stalwart in providing bacon butties early morning for those who had travelled for the seniors match, it was appreciated by everyone.

Continue playing well during rest of season.
